Bahrain Network (BNET), the national company responsible for providing fiber-based broadband network in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the successful conclusion of its 2026 Summer Training Program. Running over two months from July to August, the program hosted 22 students from universities across Bahrain within its various departments, as part of the company’s continued commitment to developing national talent in support of the Kingdom’s growing digital economy.

BNET’s Talent Development & Management department placed the interns in departments aligned with their academic specializations. Under the supervision of the company’s professionals and specialists, students gained hands-on operational experience across various business sectors, bridging academic theory with practical workplace application.

To cultivate collaboration and strategic thinking, the interns were divided into four multidisciplinary teams assigned to develop innovative projects for the company. The final assignment required cross-functional problem-solving and presenting concepts to BNET’s executive management and department representatives.

The program concluded with a final presentation ceremony attended by BNET’s executive management. The winning team involving Ahmed Idrees, Mohammed Al Mannai, Nihad Al Jalahma, Sayed Mohammed Abbas, Saud Al Dossary, Um Albaneen Alaali, and Yara Ismail earned first place for their outstanding idea and presentation quality.

On this occasion, Amal Saleh Al Mannai, Talent & Development Director at BNET, stated: “Developing national talent is a core commitment at BNET. Over the past two months, these 22 students fully integrated into our operations, demonstrating the immense potential of Bahrain’s next generation through exceptional teamwork and innovation.
