BNET Supports Bahrain Formula 1 Race
Manama, Bahrain: BNET, the national telecommunications infrastructure company, responsible for the Kingdom’s broadband network services, was in full race mode as it geared up to provide the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) with uninterrupted access to its broadband network during the exhilarating Gulf Air F1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2022.
During the three-day sporting event, BNET provided 100% network availability along with a suite of tailored, on-ground services including independent high-speed and high-capacity network carriers, a private communications room, and a dedicated technical support team who guaranteed the provision of ultra-fast broadband, and an immediate response capability to potential network problems.
This comes in line with the company’s mandate to prioritize customer centricity as one of its key strategic objectives, while pursuing its social responsibility efforts through the development and provision of an integrated network to support significant international events in the Kingdom.
Commenting on BNET’s F1 involvement, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Aldoseri, CEO of BNET, said: “We are pleased to have participated in this global event which attracted a large number of visitors and tourists from Bahrain and beyond, and to have played a key role in its success through our integrated services. Our team’s on-ground presence and capability to take immediate remedial action during any potential network emergency is part of our national responsibility.”
BNET aspires to continue elevating the telecom sector in Bahrain through a precise and organised working model. The company aims to ensure that it is fully equipped to meet the requirements of a digital economy and to achieve the Kingdom’s vision for the future of the telecommunications sector.
