BNET Signs an Agreement with Mazad
Manama, Bahrain: Bahrain Network, BNET announced the signing of an agreement with Mazad, a portfolio company of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company “Mumtalakat”, the company in charge of organizing and supervising public and electronic auctions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Under this agreement, Mazad will organize and manage electronic auctions in collaboration with BNET, with the aim of selling BNET’s electronic devices that are in excellent condition and are no longer used. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the value of reducing the carbon footprint of electronic waste to reduce its negative impact on the climate.
On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Aldoseri, CEO of BNET, commented: “Our partnership with Mazad reflects our firm’s commitment to the principle of transparency in our practices and business operations, as well as the fact that the nature of auctions contributes to increasing interest and demand for the assets offered for sale.”
For his part, Mr. Talal Aref Alaraifi, CEO of Mazad, commented: “We are pleased with our partnership with Bahrain’s National Broadband Network (BNET). This agreement will enable us to diversify the portfolio of assets that we offer through our auction platform, and will support our growth to continue contributing to the national economy of the Kingdom in line with Mumtalakat’s strategy.”
