BNET Hosts the Third Padel Tournament for its Clients
Manama, Bahrain: As part of its commitment to strengthening bonds between clients, Bahrain Network (BNET), the national company responsible for providing fiber-based broadband network in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched the third edition of its padel tournament for its partners. Following the success of the first and second editions, the event took place on 22 and 23 November at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Bringing a fun, competitive atmosphere to all attendees, the tournament welcomed 66 representatives from different telecommunications companies and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. The participants were segmented into 33 teams across the male and female categories, for a total of 70 exciting matches. The attendees also enjoyed exhibition matches hosted by professional local padel players, in addition to a special prize draw for the attendees.
Beyon were awarded the first-place prize in the men’s category, and Zain placed first in the women’s category. All the winning teams were awarded by BNET’s CEO, Ahmed Jaber Alhogbani Aldoseri. BNET has positioned padel as one of the fastest growing and most popular sports today. This achievement reflects the company’s resilient efforts to foster a collaborative environment in the telecommunications sector, while further driving digitisation and innovation in the Kingdom.
