BNET launches a Knowledge Exchange Program with NetLink Trust
Manama, Bahrain: Bahrain Network (BNET), the national broadband service provider in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with NetLink Trust (NetLink), the designer, builder, owner, and operator of the fibre network structure of Singapore’s Nationwide Broadband Network. Under the MoA, both organizations will establish an employee exchange program.
Through the program, staff members from BNET and NetLink will have the opportunity to visit the corporate offices and share information related to operating each organization’s national broadband network. Employees will exchange industry insights and experiences with their peers. This international exchange program will further cement the Kingdom’s standing as a regional leader in the telecommunications industry and support national efforts to stimulate digital growth and transformation.
On the occasion, Ms. Shaima Al Hamed, Chief Commercial Officer of BNET, commented: “We are pleased to be working alongside an exemplary international leader such as NetLink Trust to form an exchange program between our organizations that seeks to contribute positively to both nations’ telecommunications sectors. We look forward to collaborating with key partners around the world as we provide Bahraini talents with vocational and theoretical training opportunities.”
Mr. Tiong Onn Seng, Senior Director (Operations) of NetLink, added: “We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with BNET through this exchange program. We anticipate that this initiative will enable our respective staff members to share and adopt best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning in both organisations.”
