BNET Launches the "Itqan" professional program
Manama, Bahrain: Bahrain Network (BNET) launches “Itqan” professional program that aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of fiber optic network services delivery in the kingdom of Bahrain. This is an important national initiative that reflects the company’s commitment and devotion to further push forward aspirations towards its vision of “a prosperous community where everyone is connected” by improving the accuracy and efficiency of service performance and achieving operational excellence.
This program aims to ensure the safeness of the telecommunications infrastructure and raise the level of readiness by proactively verifying the accuracy and efficiency of records and systems of the fiber network as well as performing detailed physical verification of the fiber network across the Kingdom of Bahrain, which will contribute to reducing the potential delays in services delivery.
BNET is keen through this program to train a team of 40 graduates Bahraini engineers, to enrich their knowledge, provide them with practical training, and develop skills that will contribute to the development of skills, Bahraini cadres, and young energies to be ready to assume leadership positions in the future.
On this occasion, Dr. Mohamed Tayeb Mahmood, acting Director of Passive Access Network, commented: “This objective revolves around our customers satisfaction, by continuing to deploy the fiber based network in the Kingdom of Bahrain to make a positive impact on our society and enable the licensed operators to provide telecommunications services as well as meet the requirements of end users and businesses.
“BNET is eager to provide the telecommunications sector with specialized national expertise through this initiative, with the goal of supporting the initiatives of the economic recovery plan for telecommunications by increasing the percentage of Bahranization,” He added.
